Prove your know-how and become part of our team at the Ludwigshafen location as Technical Project Engineer – Automation & Digitalization (all genders) In this role, you will support the planning and implementation of automation and digitalization projects in the field of building automation and contribute to the development of standardized software modules and innovative automation strategies. You will coordinate internal and external partners, ensure compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements, and participate in the integration of safety, environmental, and GMP compliance into technical solutions. Under appropriate guidance, you will develop digital solutions for Site Operations & Facility Automation, support Automated Testing and OT Security, and ensure smooth project progress through structured planning, documentation, and tracking.
Specifically, this means: You support the planning and implementation of renovation and investment projects in the field of building automation. Together with colleagues, you develop digital solutions and contribute to the further development of our automation strategies. You participate in implementing and continuously improving standardized software modules within the team. You coordinate internal contact persons as well as external partner companies and support the monitoring of agreed services. In doing so, you ensure that technical solutions and software modules comply with our standardization requirements. You support the planning, documentation, and tracking of project tasks and ensure smooth project progress. You review technical and project-related documents together with the team for compliance with applicable standards, guidelines, and legal requirements. You participate in the integration of safety, environmental, health, and GMP requirements into technical solutions and software modules. Furthermore, you support topics such as automated testing, control engineering, and OT Security.
This is how you make a difference: You have a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field of study, such as automation technology, electrical engineering, building automation, process engineering, or a comparable discipline. You bring initial knowledge or practical experience in automation, digitalization, or building automation. Ideally, you have already gained touchpoints with automated testing, control engineering, IT infrastructure, or GMP compliance. You enjoy learning about new technical topics and enjoy developing solutions together with others. A structured, reliable, and independent way of working characterizes you. You communicate openly and clearly and approach tasks proactively and solution-oriented. Teamwork skills and good English skills round off your profile.
