The team is looking for a talented and experienced person to lead marketing and commercial activities within our oncology portfolio. Through innovative tactics and a team-oriented approach, the Senior Brand Lead will play a central role within the marketing team. This position is based in Montreal (Saint-Laurent) and reports to the Commercial Section Head, Hematology. Main responsibilities: Successfully lead and implement the annual cross-functional integrated brand plan. Develop strategies to accelerate business performance based on market knowledge and identified challenges and opportunities. Develop, implement, and measure tactics aligned with the strategies identified in the marketing plan. Strategically manage and spend the advertising and promotion (A&P) budget. Support monthly and annual financial processes. Communicate strategic objectives, positioning, messaging, and tactical plans to internal clients, the field sales force, and external agencies. Contribute to the brand team and cross-functional working groups to optimize initiatives. Prepare and deliver presentations to various stakeholders, including reviews with global or regional teams. Analyze market issues and opportunities and communicate results to the brand team and senior management. Support the brand team in the planning and coordination of the national sales meeting and cycle meetings. Work collaboratively with external vendors.
Required studies and experience: A bachelor's degree in business, science, or a related field is required. Relevant marketing experience with a proven track record within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Marketing experience in a relevant therapeutic area is an asset (at least four years). Experience in Hematology preferred. Experience in deploying digital/virtual programs is an asset. Ability to think and plan strategically (work plans, activities, timelines, targeting) and to operate with excellence in execution. Essential skills and abilities: Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.). Must be comfortable with technology (using various tools and systems to perform daily tasks). Travel is required approximately 25% of the time. Valid driver's license and passport. Key leadership skills: Drive and communicate vision and strategy. Excel in marketing by translating precise positioning into marketing tactics and sales force execution. Contribute to the brand team as an effective and authentic team player. Prioritize decisions and activities to ensure efficient use of resources and resolve critical issues impacting the brand. Prepare and deliver presentations to various stakeholders; adapt key messages to the audience. Propose new and innovative marketing solutions.
