Tax Specialist with a focus on Contract Taxes

At the tax department within ABB Corporate in Västerås, we are responsible for the tax matters occurring within ABB Sweden. An important part of the work is assisting ABB's business units with advisory services. As a tax specialist, you will become part of a cohesive, committed, and experienced team of specialists in Swedish and international corporate taxation, VAT, and TP.

Tasks

Your overall area of responsibility will be tax advisory in connection with cross-border projects. Your duties include advisory, quality assurance, and assisting with the reporting of income tax and tax returns for such projects. You will also assist during tax audits or similar investigations. This is a varied and exciting challenge where you will continuously work with our core business both locally and internationally. You will have great opportunities to influence and develop the role within Sweden and also receive global tasks.

Requirements

You are social, confident, reliable, and have good judgment. With your analytical ability combined with your focus on quality, you can propose long-term and sustainable solutions. Since you will become part of a fast-paced workplace with varied tasks, it is also important that you are stress-resistant.

You are a business economist or lawyer and have at least four to five years of experience in international tax matters in large companies, or other relevant experience. You also have experience in business advisory and are accustomed to reading contracts. You should have experience in, and enjoy, communicating orally and in writing to both large and small groups. Since you will be part of a global operation, you have very good knowledge of English.
