Tasks

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the Work Preparation and Logistics Planning departments, as well as management of personnel and vacation planning
• Leadership of the SAP Key-Users and the system administrators in logistics to ensure smooth system processes and user support
• Planning, integration, and implementation of plant-specific logistics processes, layout planning, and introduction of new logistics systems in the plant
• Responsibility for the logistical transition of projects from pre-series to series production, as well as leading logistical project and change management
• Central contact person for customers, suppliers, and project managers for new projects, as well as a link to production, purchasing, logistics, and quality assurance
• Identification of measures for productivity control, as well as coordination and implementation of special tasks, analyses, and KAIZEN/KVP activities
• Systematization of master data, management of article structure, and ensuring SAP maintenance standards and logistical performance data

Qualifications

• Completed degree (BWL, Industrial Engineering, Technology) or a commercial-technical vocational training with further training as a technician or business administrator
• Several years of sound professional experience in logistics planning within the automotive industry (Tier-1 environment)
• Proven experience in personnel leadership paired with assertiveness, a confident appearance, and teamwork skills
• Very good user knowledge in SAP R/3 as well as confident handling of the MS Office package and MS Project
• Sound know-how in project management and KVP methods, ideally supported by REFA and MTM training
• Proficient English skills in speaking and writing for communication in a global environment
