QA Automation Engineer - Python / Robot Framework

We are looking for someone for the team who combines experience in test automation, programming in Python, and data validation. If Robot Framework is not unfamiliar to you, you can create your own libraries and automated validation mechanisms, and you also feel comfortable working with data - this role may be for you.

Engagement terms:

Location: 100% remote Start: ASAP (we accept candidates with a max 1-month notice period) Rate (determined individually): 90 - 110 PLN net / h Engagement: B2B (outsourcing via 1dea), full-time, long-term

Daily tasks

• creating and developing automated tests in Robot Framework,
• creating custom libraries, parsers, and custom keywords in Python,
• data validation in JSON, CSV, XML, XLS/XLSX formats,
• testing the correctness of mappings, schemas, formats, and data,
• performing smoke, functional, regression, and UAT tests,
• analyzing test results and performing root cause analysis of errors,
• analyzing and comparing data using SQL, DuckDB, and Parquet,
• preparing reports on tests, defects, and quality trends,
• maintaining automated tests in a CI/CD environment,
• working with GitHub Actions, Docker, Artifactory, Jira, and Xray,
• collaborating with technical teams on error analysis, testing, and documentation.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in QA / test automation, Experience with Robot Framework and creating custom keywords in Python, Experience in data validation and testing, very good knowledge of Python and SQL, practical knowledge of JSON, CSV, XML, XLS/XLSX, knowledge of JSON Schema and data validation, experience in smoke, functional, regression, and UAT testing as well as error analysis, knowledge of Git, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Docker, experience with Jira, Xray, and Agile, English min. B2.
