Job Description Are you an experienced and certified welder seeking a challenging role in a modern industrial environment? SIF in Maasvlakte and/ or Roermond is looking for welders with experience in various welding methods, including 135, 136, 138 + (111 Manual or 121 Semi-Automatic welding). Responsibilities

  • Follow welding procedures and safety regulations
  • Read technical drawings and execute work instructions
  • Inspect the condition of welding equipment
  • Set up and operate welding equipment according to procedures
  • Check materials for quantity and damage
  • Use and monitor Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Record work activities on route cards
  • Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and lifting equipment
  • Remove welding residues using brushes and grinders
  • Repair welding defects according to procedures
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Valid VCA Basic certificate in Dutch or English
  • Valid welding certificate NIL Level 3 MIG/MAG or Electrode (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a welder
  • Working at height certificate (mandatory for Maasvlakte)
  • Driving license B
  • Language proficiency: minimum B1 in Dutch or English
  • Willingness to use PPE
  • Medically fit for physical work
  • Valid passport or ID

What We Offer Salary: €3,010 - €3,500 gross per month, starting at €18.52 per hour Allowances:

  • 28% for afternoon shifts
  • 35% for night shifts
  • 75% for overtime and Saturdays
  • 100% for Sundays
  • Accommodation: Approved, certified, and high-quality housing in the region provided by WIL International
  • Private room in shared housing
  • Health Insurance: €139.95/month if required
  • Travel Allowance: €0.23/km when using a personal car
  • Working Hours: 36–60 hours per week (Monday to Sunday)
