Transport Operator
Job Vacancy: Transport Operator Location: Maasvlakte/ Roermond, Netherlands Employer: SIF Contract Duration: Long-term Start Date: To be agreed Job Description SIF in Maasvlakte/ Roermond is seeking experienced transport operators responsible for the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of materials on-site. You will operate forklifts, cranes, and other logistics equipment in accordance with established lifting plans and procedures. Responsibilities
- Transport hulls, sections, and other materials using forklifts and/or overhead cranes/magnet cranes
- Act as a traffic controller on-site when needed
- Check and process waybills and register plate check-ins
- Perform visual inspections of lifting equipment and report any deviations
- Load and unload trucks and push barges
- Move roller racks as instructed
- Inspect ready sections and waste; transport to designated locations
- Sort and store waste separately using a forklift
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the outdoor work area
Requirements
- VCA Basic certificate (in Dutch or English) is a plus
- Aerial platform certificate (mandatory for Maasvlakte) or equivalent experience without certificate (SIF training provided)
- Driving license B
- Crane/lifting instruction
- Forklift certificate
- Language proficiency: minimum B1 in Dutch or English
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
What We Offer Salary: €2,959 - €3,010 gross per month, starting at €18.21 per hour Allowances:
- 28% for afternoon shifts
- 35% for night shifts
- 75% for overtime and Saturdays
- 100% for Sundays
