Your tasks

About the Role We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Offshore Dimensional Inspectors to support Quality Control (QC) activities, who would be responsible for conducting dimensional inspections of piping and structural components, verifying compliance with approved engineering drawings and specifications, identifying dimensional deviations, and maintaining accurate inspection reports and as-built records.

• Perform dimensional inspections of piping spools, structural components, supports, and platforms.
• Verify alignment, elevation, level, orientation, and dimensions against approved engineering drawings.
• Inspect flange orientation, bolt-hole alignment, branch connections, and tie-in points.
• Check structural beams, columns, platforms, supports, and connections for dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct dimensional checks before and after fit-up, welding, and installation.
• Identify, document, and report dimensional deviations and non-conformities.
• Prepare and maintain Dimensional Inspection Reports and as-built records.
• Collaborate with QC, Engineering, and Construction teams to resolve dimensional issues.
• Ensure measuring equipment is properly calibrated and suitable for use.

Requirements

The ideal candidates will have strong technical knowledge of piping and structural fabrication, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with QC, Engineering, and Construction teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• NTC, OND, HND, or B.Sc. in a relevant technical or engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience in dimensional inspection, piping fabrication, structural works, or related fields.
• Practical experience in offshore fabrication and construction activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong ability to interpret isometric, structural, and fabrication drawings.
• Sound knowledge of dimensional tolerances, alignment, elevation, and orientation.
• Good understanding of piping spool installation, fit-up, and structural assembly.
• Experience conducting as-built dimensional inspections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, for inspection reporting and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Good reporting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
