Preschool Teacher - Chinese (L1/L2) - West/ North - WCDT

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct engaging lessons and learning activities for preschool children based on the curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment that supports children’s development and well-being.
• Monitor and assess children’s learning progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.
• Guide children in developing social, communication, and basic academic skills through play-based learning.
• Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and classroom displays.
• Ensure children’s safety and hygiene at all times, including during meals and outdoor activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress, behaviour, and classroom activities.
• Manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive discipline practices.
• Organize school events, activities, and celebrations to enhance student engagement.
• Work closely with other teachers and school staff to support daily school operations and curriculum planning.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to students and classroom activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the school management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• ECDA certification/ licensing is required.
• Passionate about teaching and nurturing young children.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring, responsible, and able to work well with children.
• Able to create a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Team player with a positive working attitude.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
