Walsh Plant & Groundworks Limited at Crohane, Ballinascarthy, Co.Cork is looking for 2 heavy machine operator. The successful candidates will be required to drive and control an excavator.

The Role

As an Excavator Operator, you will play a key role in supporting our construction projects by operating both small and large excavator units safely and efficiently. You will help deliver projects to the highest standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a range of excavators.
• Carry out excavation, trenching, grading, levelling, drainage, and foundation works.
• Carry out daily machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Work safely in accordance with company procedures and health and safety legislation.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and ground workers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating both small and large excavators.
• Demonstrates excellent machine control and safe operating practices.
• Is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in delivering quality work.
• Can work independently while also contributing positively within a team.

Annual Remuneration:

€36,606.00

Pay rate: € 18.05 per hour

Number of hours work each week: 39

Work Location: Crohane, Ballinascarthy, co.cork
