SIL Test Architect

Required:

• Minimum BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent
• Major experience from development, testing and quality assurance in complex systems
• Competence in simulation tools such as DSpace product family
• Experience from distributed data processing and cluster environment, such as Hadoop
• Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
• Minimum five years of experience in product development

Meriting:

• Experience from test frameworks
• Matlab
• Continuous integration
• Competence in embedded SW
• Experience from autonomous industry, and especially active safety
• Knowledge about aSPICE and Autosar
• Knowledge about CAN, Flexray and corresponding tools
• Experience from working with requirement tools, CM tools and test framework Active Safety is one of the fastest growing areas within automotive today. This fact puts high requirements on fast development and learning loops. It also puts high a demand on reliable and flexible quality assurance tool chains

We are in the process of defining, developing and establishing a Software in the Loop (SIL) competence center for Veoneer Europe, where we need new key players. Together with our colleagues in e.g. Germany, US, and Zenuity, we will develop roadmaps and strategies for the SIL development, and then drive the development according to this strategy

We work with active safety on systems level, which includes radar, camera and ADAS ECU components. Our work is to prioritize according to project needs, integrate and develop, synchronize between the components in order for us to produce a system solution on the SIL environment

Among the technical challenges, we need to handle huge amount of data that we should be able to re-simulate (open loop). We need to establish system(s) to enable this; cloud solutions, data management and Tools

Another challenge real time simulation between components (closed loop). We should build up an environment where we can simulate the different components in order to evaluate end-to-end functionality, integration, time criticality, etc

Your tasks will be to develop the SIL environment for our components. Both according to customer expectations, and according to the Veoneer strategy that you will help developing

You will develop SIL concepts and evaluate them and develop the chosen concepts. You will develop the environments that are needed. Part of your job will be to support the RFQs with competence, and in that work you should also proactively drive Veoneer’s strategies to be able to anticipate the customer’s requirements and guide their choice of solution

You will have many contacts, both locally and globally. You possess social skills and excellent communication ability
