Bunker Clerk / Cargo Officer
Role Overview: Responsible for managing cargo operations and related documentation, while safeguarding product quality and quantity. Key Responsibilities: Manage cargo operations and documentation Safeguard product quality and quantity Ensure all cargo loading, ex-bunker delivery, blending operations, and delivery comply with Company work instructions, and in particular SS648:2024, wherever applicable Ensure custody control procedures for cargo storage onboard the bunker tanker and cargo movements are duly and properly implemented Maintain proper and timely records of inventory in the stock movement logbook and daily ROB report Report any customer complaint or dispute to the Operations Manager immediately, and assist in onsite investigation Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned Requirements: 1 year of experience as a bunker clerk/cargo officer onboard bunker tankers Certification in Basic & Advanced Course on Bunkering Practices (SS600 & TR48) Certification in Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering (SS648:2024) Willingness to follow Company's shift duties and stay onboard vessel Effective communication skills Meticulous, responsible, and good follow-through skills
