Senior Accountant – Corporate & Manufacturing Plant

Contract Opportunity - Senior Accountant – Corporate & Manufacturing Plant – Cincinnati, OH

6-Month Contract Role (No conversion to permanent employment. Contract may be extended at the end of the assignment.)

Work with a Fortune 25 retailer headquartered in Cincinnati supporting large-scale manufacturing and finance operations.

Location: Downtown Cincinnati, OH Schedule: 100% Onsite, Monday-Friday Pay Rate: $50-$55/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support manufacturing operations and plant financial reporting. This individual will be responsible for manufacturing cost accounting, inventory and WIP reconciliations, cost analysis, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and partnership with plant leadership. The role will also provide oversight and mentorship to one accounting team member.

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of manufacturing or cost accounting experience

Strong understanding of inventory accounting, COGS, and cost allocation methodologies

Experience with standard costing, job costing, or process costing

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Infor

Strong month-end close and financial reporting experience

Advanced Excel and analytical skills

Ability to explain cost variances and provide operational insights

Experience partnering with manufacturing or plant operations teams preferred
