Legal Officer

Responsibilities:

Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on contracts, agreements, letters, notices, and other legal documents. Advise on intellectual property matters, including copyright, trademark, and patent strategy. Liaise with external lawyers, solicitors, barristers, government agencies, regulators, and other relevant authorities on behalf of the company. Ensure compliance with global data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Support product development teams with legal guidance on open-source software usage and third-party integrations. Manage legal risks related to cybersecurity, AI, and emerging technologies. Liaise with external counsel on litigation, regulatory issues, and complex transactions. Develop and maintain internal policies on ethics, compliance, and contract management.

Requirements:

Minimum qualification of BSc. 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
