Heavy Equipment Maintenance Engineer

Responsible for all the corrective and periodic maintenance schedule and ensure the maintenance & repair activities are carried out as planned.

Responsible for the preventive maintenance of equipment and timely change the needed spare parts to prevent sudden damage to the Equipment during its operations.

Ensure the maintenance schedule is daily followed and the safety precautions is maintained, inspect and check equipment for proper operation, makes log test, maintenance and repair or replace essential spare parts.

Direct technician team in the maintenance work shops and supervise their performance.

Responsible for receiving the spare parts according to certain specifications and check their warranty before installing or usage of any of these parts.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking repair manuals, inspecting drives, motors and belts.

Install or replace machinery, replacement parts and instruments, using hand tools or power tools

Tend and observe equipment and machinery in order to verify efficient and safe operation.

Maintains safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.

Maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.

Maintain and update all equipment maintenance and repair software program.

Minimum of 3 year maintenance experience in Heavy Equipment ( Cranes , Heavy Forklift , ………..).

English (read, write and speak) fluently.

Sound knowledge of Hydraulic system.

Troubleshooting equipment to solve problems

Root cause analysis

Ability to deal with people from different cultures and background

Advanced Microsoft office proficiency

Oracle user & ERP system is Preferably
