Mechanical Technical Office Engineer
-Review project contract documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Prepare, review, and follow up on mechanical shop drawings with consultants.
- Prepare RFIs and coordinate technical clarifications with project stakeholders.
- Review subcontractors’ and vendors’ shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate mechanical drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.
- Resolve technical issues arising during construction and support site execution.
- Prepare accurate as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and quality standards.
- Maintain shop drawing logs and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with the Technical Office Manager and project team to ensure timely project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in Mechanical Technical Office works within construction companies.
- Good knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Infrastructure systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
- Good knowledge of Revit MEP is preferred.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, BOQs, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
- Familiarity with Egyptian Codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, and relevant international standards.
- Good coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
