Medical Assistant – Ophthalmology Clinic (Mohandeseen or New Cairo)

About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at a eye center in New Cairo. This role is ideal for medical interns or graduates interested in Ophthalmology , offering hands-on clinical exposure in a professional, high-standard environment.

Key Responsibilities Assist doctors during clinics by accurately documenting patient data in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system

Support patient flow within the clinic (reception, directing patients, coordinating between clinic and investigation units)

Prepare and print: Prescriptions

Investigation requests

Surgical requests

Draft and type medical reports

Assist in basic patient workup and provide patient counseling when needed

Collect and report patient feedback to enhance service quality

Translate medical reports between Arabic and English

Support overall clinic operations and report any issues when needed

Technical Skills Excellent English writing and typing skills

Strong computer proficiency

Good command of Microsoft Word / Google Docs

Administrative Skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Ability to manage appointments and coordinate workflow efficiently

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Personal Skills Presentable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Qualifications Medical students (interns) /fresh graduates preferred, or those fresh out of residency especially those interested in Ophthalmology

Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)

Preferably residing near New Cairo / Fifth Settlement
