About the company

A friendly and high-achieving primary school is seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join their team for a maternity cover role from January to July 2027, with the possibility of continuing through the Autumn Term 2027.

Your tasks

Responsibilities include

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons for a Year 3 class

• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Working closely with colleagues, parents, and leadership teams

• Contributing to the wider life of the school

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have

• QTS and experience teaching within Key Stage 2

• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements

• A creative and engaging teaching style

• High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
