The Role As a Litigation Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload from instruction through to conclusion, advising a broad client base on a range of contentious matters. You will work closely with colleagues across the firm while maintaining responsibility for your own files and client relationships. Your caseload will include: Contractual disputes Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings Property and boundary disputes Professional negligence claims Company and partnership disputes Contested probate claims Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), including mediation and negotiation Key Responsibilities Managing a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters. Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice. Drafting pleadings, witness statements, court documents and correspondence. Representing clients in negotiations, mediation and court proceedings. Maintaining regular communication with clients and managing expectations effectively. Recording time accurately and meeting billing objectives. Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and firm procedures. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Supporting and mentoring junior team members and support staff. Participating in networking, marketing and business development activities. Keeping up to date with changes in litigation law and procedure. About You Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years' PQE , although candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply. You will have: Experience handling a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters. Strong advocacy, negotiation and drafting skills. Excellent client care and relationship management abilities. A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem-solving. The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
