Working Pattern: 4 days per week (7.5 hours per day + 30‑minute break)
Job Overview
Pulse is seeking an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to provide specialist support across two school sites in Morden, Surrey. This role involves working with children with a range of communication needs and disabilities, delivering both dysphagia and early‑years communication interventions within a school environment.
You will complete independent assessments, contribute to EHCP processes, and support children with complex communication profiles, including those using AAC and communication devices.
Key Responsibilities
Complete independent dysphagia assessments for children within a school setting
Conduct early‑years communication assessments and deliver targeted provision
Lead and contribute to EHCP reviews
Provide intervention for children with a range of communication needs and disabilities
Support pupils using communication aids and devices, particularly in early years
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
HCPC‑registered Speech & Language Therapist
Paediatric dysphagia training/experience (essential)
Experience with AAC/communication aids, especially early years
Experience working with children with disabilities
Confident working independently across school environments
