Performance Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter, including advanced scripting, custom samplers, Groovy/BeanShell.
- Proficient in LoadRunner, including Web HTTP/HTML, TruClient, and Web Services protocols.
- Experience with K6 or Gatling is a plus.
- Observability & Monitoring
- Hands-on experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
- Proficient in analyzing infrastructure metrics using Prometheus & Grafana.
- Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk for log analysis.
Systems & Infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with workload modeling using production data, analytics, or system logs.
- Hands-on experience designing and executing Load, Stress, Endurance, and Scalability Testing.
- Ability to analyze Thread Dumps, Heap Dumps, and Garbage Collection (GC) to identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and locking issues.
- Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience in Capacity Planning and providing infrastructure/cloud scaling recommendations based on test results.
Soft Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Performance Testing, Performance Engineering, or Software Development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of performance issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical performance issues to non-technical stakeholders.
