Senior Demand Planning Specialist (Manufacturing)

Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain statistical forecasting models using R, Python, and GCP to improve 18-month demand forecast accuracy
• Manage forecast and pricing data in SAP IBP, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs
• Work with Marketing and other stakeholders to build and refine demand models using internal and external data
• Build and deploy machine learning solutions to automate planning and boost efficiency
• Mine large structured and unstructured datasets for trends, risks, and business opportunities
• Turn complex business problems into scalable analytical solutions through creative, data-driven problem-solving
• Build dashboards and reports (e.g., in Power BI) to communicate insights and support decision-making
• Continuously refine forecasting methods and planning tools to drive measurable business impact
• Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Commercial, and IT teams to embed analytical best practices org-wide

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years building analytical solutions in Python
• 2+ years in time series forecasting (univariate, multivariate, ensemble methods)
• 2+ years working with databases (SQL or similar) — data modeling, querying, management
• 1+ year working in a cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• 2+ years building dashboards/visualizations in Power BI or similar BI tools
• Preferred: experience applying ML/predictive analytics to supply chain, demand planning, or similar
• Nice to have: experience with SAP IBP or other advanced planning systems
