We’re recruiting for an experienced Senior Technician to join an established and busy automotive dealership in Ipswich .

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Technician looking to take the next step, with a strong basic salary of up to £39,000 plus an additional £8,000 earning potential .

The Role

As a Senior Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles, while supporting the wider workshop team.

You’ll be expected to work to a high standard, diagnose faults accurately and help maintain excellent workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing complex repairs to a high standard
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks
• Supporting less experienced Technicians where required
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed
• Working efficiently to meet workshop targets
• Following all health & safety and manufacturer standards

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Senior Technician
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional approach and strong work ethic
• Relevant automotive qualifications
• Full UK driving licence
