Operational Buyer

Location: Clevedon (Hybrid) Duration: 6 months contract initially Hourly Rate: £23.12 PAYE Working Arrangements: Hybrid working We're looking for an Operational Buyer to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business in Clevedon. You'll be responsible for managing supplier performance, raising purchase orders, supporting production requirements, and ensuring materials are delivered on time, to cost, and to quality standards. Key Requirements: 2+ years' experience in Purchasing or Buying role Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment Ability to manage supplier performance and resolve supply issues CIPS Level 4 (or equivalent experience) desirable Experience with NPI, sourcing, or continuous improvement projects is beneficial This is a great opportunity for a Buyer looking to join an innovative organisation and play a key role within a busy supply chain team.
