Caregiver - Medical Appointments (Part-time, Flexible)

About the company

Job Summary Meddy is hiring part-time caregivers in Singapore to support patients during hospital and clinic visits by assisting with mobility, accompanying them through appointments, and updating their families.

Your tasks

• Meet patients at home or clinic as scheduled to begin appointments
• Accompany patients through registration, consultation, tests, and pharmacy visits to ensure smooth navigation
• Provide mobility assistance such as walking support and wheelchair help to enhance patient safety and comfort
• Accurately note doctor’s instructions and relay visit details to clients for clear communication
• Update and check in on each assignment to maintain accurate records and client satisfaction

Requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or caregiving roles such as nursing, healthcare assistance, caregiving, medical social work, eldercare, or formal healthcare training
• Good spoken and written English, to communicate with clinic staff and send client a clear summary after each visit
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, or a Chinese dialect to better support patients comfortable in these languages
