Mazza Music is an emerging record label focused on building global Afrobeats and urban music talent. We are developing a consistent pipeline of high-quality releases and a distinct sound.

Your tasks

We are looking for a focused, creative, and disciplined music producer to join our team full-time. You will be responsible for producing original beats, working closely with artists, and handling basic mixing and mastering to a release-ready standard.

• Produce high-quality beats consistently each week (Afrobeats, Amapiano, Trap)

• Target output: 10–20 beats per month, with a strong focus on quality and originality

• Collaborate with artists during studio sessions

• Mix and master tracks to a clean, release-ready level

• Maintain organised project files and sessions

• Contribute to developing the overall sound of the label

Requirements

• Proven experience producing Afrobeats, Amapiano, or Trap

• Strong mixing and mastering skills

• Proficiency in DAWs (FL Studio, Ableton, Logic Pro, etc.)

• Must have own laptop and production software

• Strong understanding of current African and global music trends

• Disciplined, reliable, and consistent

• Based in Lagos is strongly preferred

What we offer

Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000/month

• Monthly salary (₦150K – ₦200K)

• Studio access and consistent artist sessions

• Opportunity to work on official releases

• Performance bonus if any produced track performs strongly (e.g. charts/streams)

• If not based in Lagos, occasional travel to Lagos will be required (covered by the label)

Important Conditions • This is a full-time, in-house role

• All beats produced are exclusive property of Mazza Music (work-for-hire)

• No external selling or freelancing with beats created during employment
