Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle for the UK and Egypt, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.

Review and validate payroll inputs, calculations, earnings, deductions, statutory payments, and final payroll outputs prior to processing.

Prepare, review, and oversee payroll bank transfers, payment files, and banking activities, including secure bank token management and payment approvals.

Administer and reconcile employee deductions, including statutory deductions, benefits, loans, advances, and other payroll adjustments.

Ensure compliance with UK and Egyptian payroll legislation, tax regulations, social insurance, pensions, and company policies.

Collaborate with HR, Finance, payroll providers, and banking partners to ensure accurate payroll processing and issue resolution.

Maintain payroll records, reconciliations, and documentation while ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and audit readiness.

Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing guidance and support to employees and internal stakeholders.

Lead the transition of the current outsourced payroll function in-house, including the transfer and validation of historical payroll data and the setup and implementation of the new payroll system.

Support the development of hiring plans and budgets and provide clear analysis and explanations of variances against budget.

Manage monthly incentive schemes and commission calculations for UK staff, where applicable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Prepare payroll journals, GL postings and mapping, and payroll-related accruals, including bonus and holiday pay.

Reconcile payroll control accounts, PAYE/NI and social insurance liability accounts to the balance sheet, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

Manage month-end payroll close processes and ensure all payroll-related accounting activities are completed accurately and on time.

Oversee the recharge of payroll costs across entities, ensuring accurate allocation and reporting.

Working Days: Monday to Friday ( Saturday & Sunday off ).

Working Hours: 11:00AM to 7:00PM

Work Location: Elmerghany - Heliopolis

5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll operations, preferably across both the UK and Egypt.

Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and Egyptian payroll, tax, and social insurance regulations.

Extensive experience reviewing payroll calculations, reconciliations, employee deductions, and payroll controls.

Strong understanding of payroll banking processes, salary transfers, payment approvals, and bank token management.

Experience working with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent understanding of payroll compliance, governance, confidentiality, and data protection requirements.

Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles, prioritize workloads, and meet strict deadlines.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, employees, payroll providers, and banking partners.

Proactive problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to enhance payroll processes and controls.
