Scrum Master (SAP)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to serve as an Agile facilitator, coach, and operational catalyst within a product-led global organization. In this critical role, you will champion Agile mindsets and frameworks, partnering directly with Product Owners, engineering teams, and Release Management to drive high-value, quality software delivery. You will act as the single point of contact for Agile execution within your product domain, ensuring seamless team coordination, continuous delivery, and alignment with enterprise goals in an environment leveraging SAP technologies .

Daily tasks

• Agile Advocacy & Team Facilitation: Guide, mentor, and support cross-functional product teams in adopting and refining Agile practices across Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
• Ceremony & Flow Management: Facilitate key Agile events—including Sprint Planning, Refinement, Demos, and Retrospectives—while tracking velocity and delivery metrics via Burndown Charts and Cumulative Flow Diagrams.
• Product Owner & Release Alignment: Partner closely with Product Owners to manage requirements flow and align delivery schedules with enterprise Release Management milestones to maximize stakeholder satisfaction.
• Cross-Team Collaboration & Integration: Establish clear communication bridges between Agile product squads and legacy or traditional project delivery units across the broader organization.
• Workshops & Capability Building: Lead interactive training sessions and workshops covering user story mapping, relative estimation (story pointing), and backlog prioritization techniques.
• Continuous Improvement Culture: Cultivate a generative team culture built on shared accountability, short feedback loops, continuous learning, and iterative improvement.

Requirements

Professional Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master supporting complex software or systems delivery. Agile Framework Expertise: Deep, practical mastery of Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) , alongside a solid understanding of traditional (Waterfall) delivery models. Domain & Technology Exposure: Proven experience operating within environments leveraging SAP systems and enterprise integrations. Workshop Facilitation: Demonstrated confidence in designing and facilitating multi-day training sessions, team workshops, and Agile coaching modules. Communication: Fluent written and spoken English skills with exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience. Desirable / Nice-to-Have Prior consulting or engagement experience within global pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environments (e.g., Takeda). Formal Agile certifications (e.g., PSM II/III, CSM, SAFe Scrum Master / SSM).
