About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and detail oriented legal professional to support our business operations by providing legal guidance, managing contractual matters, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of corporate and commercial law, with the ability to translate legal requirements into practical solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on business operations, commercial transactions, and strategic decisions.
• Draft, review, and advise on contracts, partnership agreements, service agreements, and other legal documents.

• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and relevant industry requirements.
• Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Advise on corporate governance, internal policies, and business documentation.
• Support the negotiation and structuring of business partnerships and commercial relationships.

• Provide guidance on intellectual property, data protection, and other legal matters relevant to the business.

Requirements

• A law degree and qualification to practise law in Nigeria.
• Demonstrable knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.

• Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Good judgement and the ability to provide clear, practical legal advice.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks independently.
• An understanding of the legal considerations affecting startups and growing businesses is an advantage.
