QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER (INDIA)

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the Project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan for semiconductor equipment hook-up works.

Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and client requirements.

Lead QA/QC engineers and inspectors across mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and related hook-up disciplines.

Manage inspections, testing, material verification, welding documentation, cleanliness control, and system handover records.

Coordinate with engineering, construction teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality issues and technical non-conformances.

Monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, punch lists, and quality observations to ensure timely closure.

Conduct internal audits and subcontractor quality assessments to verify compliance and prevent recurring defects.

Report quality performance, key risks, and improvement actions to the Project Manager and Hook-Up Manager.

Requirements Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Relevant experience in semiconductor fabs, equipment hook-up, or other high-tech construction projects.

Strong knowledge of QA/QC plans, ITPs, method statements, inspections, testing, NCR management, punch-list closure, and handover documentation.

Familiarity with mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, welding, cleanliness, and utility systems.

Relevant quality or industry certifications, such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP, AWS, ASNT, or equivalent, will be an advantage.
