Accountabilities: Translate, revise, and adapt a wide variety of financial, investment, marketing, and corporate communications from English into high-quality Canadian French, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.

Review translations completed by internal and external contributors, providing detailed feedback and coaching to maintain consistent linguistic quality and editorial excellence.

Edit and proofread both translated and French-original content for print, digital, web, video, and internal communication channels while ensuring alignment with established style guides and brand standards.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to clarify source content, understand communication objectives, and deliver effective messaging for diverse audiences.

Manage multiple translation and revision projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Maintain and optimize translation memories, terminology databases, AI-assisted translation tools, and linguistic resources to improve efficiency and consistency.

Contribute to continuous process improvements, terminology research, and the development of best practices while supporting a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance team culture.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Translation or a related discipline.

Minimum of 10 years of professional translation experience, preferably within financial services, wealth management, asset management, or another corporate environment.

At least 2 years of professional translation revision experience.

Outstanding French writing, editing, and revision skills, with the ability to adapt tone, messaging, and style for different audiences and communication channels.

Strong expertise in financial and investment translation, including experience with marketing, promotional, and client-facing content.

Excellent knowledge of Canadian English and Canadian/Québec French, including linguistic, cultural, and stylistic nuances.

Experience using CAT tools, AI-assisted translation technologies, terminology management systems, project management platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.

Professional certification (OTTIAQ, ATIO, or equivalent), experience translating digital and video content, or financial certifications such as the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) are considered assets.

Fluency in both French and English is required to collaborate effectively with English-speaking colleagues, stakeholders, and clients across Canada.
