HLTA - Salisbury
Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next opportunity in Salisbury? Hays Education is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across the Salisbury area who are seeking dedicated HLTAs to support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic HLTA who enjoys making a positive impact on pupils' progress, delivering small group interventions, and confidently covering classes when required.
The Role
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Support pupils across the primary age range
- Lead small group and 1:1 interventions
- Assist with planning, preparation and classroom organisation
- Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working within a UK primary school
- Confidence covering whole classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
