QA/QC Engineer

Guildhall is recruiting for a QA/QC Engineer to join a leading international engineering and construction contractor in Dubai, UAE. The role requires strong experience in QA/QC management, site inspections, material approvals, and quality documentation within complex high-rise construction environments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Management Plans, QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, and quality control systems in coordination with the Project Management Team.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assessments while providing technical guidance and supervision to ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Manage quality documentation, including inspection records, material submittals, non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality reports, ensuring effective communication between project stakeholders.
• Identify potential quality risks and contractual issues that may impact project delivery, recommending corrective measures to maintain compliance and achieve project objectives.
• Participate in project meetings, coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams, and provide proactive support to ensure continuous improvement of construction quality performance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 8–12 years of hands-on QA/QC experience within international construction environments.
• Proven experience delivering high-rise building projects (G+ Unlimited Floors), preferably with major developers and Tier 1 contractors.
• Previous experience working on projects with Emaar and/or Mirage is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai construction standards, regulations, QA/QC procedures, material submittals, inspections, and quality documentation processes, including experience with the DDA inspection portal.
• Currently based in Dubai is highly preferred, with excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
