Gao Kitchen & Bar is a newly opened premium Vietnamese fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Katajanokka, Helsinki. With seating for approximately 100 guests and a growing catering business, we are passionate about delivering authentic Vietnamese cuisine with exceptional quality and hospitality.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Traditional Vietnamese Cook who is passionate about preserving the authentic flavors of Vietnam while working in a modern professional kitchen.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare authentic traditional Vietnamese dishes using classic cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Ensure every dish meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Follow modern food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Understand and manage food allergies and special dietary requirements.
  • Support both restaurant service and catering events.
  • Work efficiently as part of a professional kitchen team.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in traditional Vietnamese cooking.
  • Strong knowledge of authentic Vietnamese ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods.
  • Understanding of modern kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
  • Knowledge of allergen management and food handling regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced fine dining and catering environment.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • A positive attitude and passion for quality food.
