Full Time Tuition Teacher (Primary or Secondary) – English, Maths or Science

First Konnection is recruiting full time tuition teachers for an established education group with multiple centres across Singapore. You’ll teach at either Primary or Secondary level, based on your strongest subject knowledge and teaching capability. You don’t need to teach both levels. What matters is that you can teach your chosen level confidently and effectively. Subjects Primary Level English

Responsibilities Prepare and deliver clear and engaging lessons

Familiarise yourself with the curriculum and teaching materials provided

Encourage student participation and maintain an effective learning environment

Mark students’ work and monitor their academic progress

Provide parents with clear and constructive feedback

Conduct regular classes and occasional relief classes

Participate in training and curriculum development when required

Support trial classes, webinars, talks and other education related events

Working Schedule You must be able to commit to 1 of the following schedules: Option 1 3 weekdays, 1:30pm to 9:30pm

Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm

Option 2 4 weekdays, 1:30pm to 9:30pm

1 weekend day, 9:00am to 6:00pm

You may indicate your preferred off days. Final approval will depend on class assignments and operational requirements. Work Location Vacancies are available within the Central, West and North East zones

You’ll have 1 assigned centre that you report to

Where possible, the assigned centre will be near your residential area

Final deployment will depend on manpower requirements

You may occasionally teach at other centres within your assigned zone during your normal working hours

Requirements Relevant degree or equivalent qualification

Strong subject knowledge in at least 1 listed subject

Able to teach confidently at either Primary or Secondary level

Good communication and classroom management skills

Comfortable communicating with students and parents

Prior teaching experience is preferred

Experienced applicants should ideally have at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience

Familiarity with the Singapore Ministry of Education curriculum is an advantage

Fresh university graduates with strong subject knowledge and a genuine interest in teaching are welcome to apply

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Able to commit to the stated working schedule and centre deployment arrangements
