Teacher

Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects: English, Mathematics, Basic Science, Social Studies, Civic Education, etc. Follow the school curriculum and NERDC/ Lagos State syllabus Use a variety of teaching methods: play-based, activity-based, and tech-aided learning Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and teaching aids weekly

Classroom Management:

Maintain a positive, disciplined, and organized classroom Ensure safety and welfare of all pupils during school hours Take attendance, monitor behavior, and handle minor first aid

Assessment & Reporting:

Set and mark tests, assignments, and continuous assessment Track pupil progress and keep accurate records Prepare termly report cards and communicate with parents during PTA/Report-card day

School Duties:

Supervise pupils during break, assembly, and extracurricular activities Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events Contribute to school decoration, clubs, and inter-house sports

Parent & Community Engagement:

Communicate regularly with parents on pupil performance and behavior Attend parent-teacher meetings

Requirements:

Minimum of an NCE 1-2 years of teaching experience in a primary school preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Patience, creativity, and love for children
