About Epic Pro Infosys Tech Epic Pro Infosys Tech is expanding its core engineering team. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager based in Kampala, Uganda or Accra, Ghana to lead our dedicated in-house mobile app development team.

Role Overview You will oversee the engineering team responsible for our suite of in-house mobile applications. This leadership role blends technical oversight, project management, and people management to foster a high-performing development environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, mentor, and grow a team of mobile developers through regular 1:1s, performance evaluations, and technical guidance. Partner with executive leadership and product owners to shape roadmaps, timelines, and technical architecture. Oversee agile processes (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives) to ensure reliable project execution. Identify technical risks, resolve operational bottlenecks, and maintain strong engineering standards. Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and continuous team development.

Qualifications & Requirements

2+ years in an engineering management or lead role, alongside 5+ years of hands-on software development experience (mobile development background preferred). Demonstrated experience successfully delivering complex software projects in agile environments. Strong technical acumen to participate in architectural discussions and guide technical trade-offs. Outstanding leadership, strategic planning, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

Monthly Salary: UGX 1,500,000 – UGX 3,000,000 (Kampala) or GHS 4,400 – GHS 8,850 (Accra) Paid Time Off: Paid holidays & paid annual leave Bonuses: Discretionary performance bonuses Complimentary Daily Lunch Provided
