Accountant

Record and maintain accurate daily accounting and financial transactions.

Prepare, issue, and review sales invoices and related financial documents.

Handle daily cash collections, payments, and cash reconciliation.

Reconcile sales transactions, cash collections, and outstanding balances.

Verify the accuracy of product quantities, weights, prices, and transaction values.

Perform gold weight and karat conversion calculations accurately.

Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.

Prepare daily and periodic financial and sales reports.

Follow up on receivables and support the reconciliation of customer accounts.

Coordinate with Sales, Stores, and other departments to ensure accurate financial transactions.

Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial and customer information.

Preferred Knowledge Basic knowledge of gold, gold karats, weights, and conversions.

Basic understanding of diamonds and jewelry, including key specifications such as carat weight, color, clarity, and cut.

Previous experience in the gold, jewelry, diamond, or retail industry is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Previous experience in the gold/jewelry/diamond industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good command of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
