Data Senior Manager - Energy - Brussels

Join a leading international organization undergoing a major digital and data transformation while contributing to critical infrastructure and sustainability challenges.

As Data Manager, you will define and drive the enterprise-wide data strategy, ensuring strong governance, data quality, security, and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in unlocking business value through data, analytics, and AI across operations, finance, ESG, and corporate functions.

• Define and execute the company's enterprise-wide data strategy.
• Establish data governance frameworks, ownership models, and quality standards.
• Develop and oversee the roadmap, programs, and projects required to implement the data strategy.
• Drive data-enabled transformation across business functions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and critical infrastructure requirements.
• Build the foundations required for advanced analytics and AI adoption.
• Lead and develop a team of 10-15 experts
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and board-level decision-makers.
• Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.

Profile

• Master's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership positions within Data, IT, Digital, or Transformation environments.
• Proven experience in deploying enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and major data transformation initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to define roadmaps and drive large-scale organizational change.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to executive audiences.
• Experience within industry, infrastructure, utilities, energy, manufacturing, or other regulated sectors is highly valued.
• Exposure to OT/IT environments, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, SCADA, telemetry, AI, or NIS2-related topics is an asset.
• Strong people management and transversal leadership skills.
• Humble, resilient, influential, and able to navigate complex environments with calm and credibility.
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
