Your tasks

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide friendly, attentive service
• Handle food preparation tasks including assembling snacks or light meals in accordance with food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas
• Manage cash transactions accurately using basic math skills; ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
• Follow food safety protocols during food handling and serving to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality service
• Basic math skills for cash handling, order totals, and change calculation
• Ability to follow food safety guidelines during food preparation and serving processes
• Food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
