Service Leader

Service Leader Location: Southport

Working with a values-led social care charity committed to delivering care and support to those who need it, we seek a skilled Service Leader who can bring passion and commitment to leading teams within a supported living environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage the day-to-day oversight of 6 supported living services in Southport, for adults with mild learning disabilities.
• Lead your teams through coaching and supervision, using clear communication to maintain a motivated team culture
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with organisational requirements
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support service delivery and outcomes
• Promote and sustain a safe, respectful and inclusive culture

What you'll bring:

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a supported living environment
• Excellent communication skills-able to engage effectively with staff, and the individuals being supported
• Ability to manage your day to day responsibilities
• Strong people leadership skills, including mentoring and supporting development
• A flexible working approach to your work, understanding that whilst this is mainly a Monday to Friday role, there may be times where flexibility is required around this. Full time role over 37.5 hours per week.
• Safeguarding awareness and commitment to safe practice
• A relevant qualification in health & social care, leadership/management (or equivalent experience) is preferable, and car driver preferable.
