Job Summary
Responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of documents, parcels, goods and other items using a motorcycle or other company designated vehicle, in accordance with delivery schedules and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily collection and delivery assignments efficiently to meet schedules
- Plan and optimise delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify delivery addresses, instructions, and item details for accuracy before dispatch
- Maintain accurate delivery records, receipts, and proof of delivery for accountability
- Monitor delivery progress and report delays or issues promptly to supervisors
- Handle goods securely to prevent damage, loss, or misdelivery during transit
- Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs to ensure safe operation
- Comply with traffic laws, road safety requirements, and company procedures consistently
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues to provide clear updates and service
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid motorcycle driving licence recognised in Singapore
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with Singapore roads and GPS navigation tools to optimize routes
- Good route planning, time management, and organisational skills for efficient delivery
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping abilities
- Good communication and customer service skills to engage with customers effectively
- Responsible, punctual, and safety conscious work habits
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned deliveries without supervision
- Previous delivery or courier experience is an advantage
