Bank Officer

Responsibilities:

Manage daily banking transactions and financial activities. Prepare and maintain accurate bank and financial records. Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Monitor cash inflows, outflows, and account balances. Process payments, transfers, deposits, and other banking transactions. Liaise with banks on account-related issues and transactions. Prepare financial and banking reports for management review. Ensure proper documentation and authorization of all financial transactions. Support the accounts team with financial reporting and other accounting duties. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and relevant banking regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or banking operations. Strong accounting background with proven experience in bank reconciliation and financial reporting. Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is an added advantage. Good knowledge of banking operations, financial transactions, and accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. Candidates with experience in both accounting and banking operations will be highly preferred.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 – 300,000 Monthly
