- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Answer customer questions and assist with requests
- Execute purchases and returns at the cash register while checking for accuracy
- Restock and organize merchandise on the sales floor
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of current products, promotions, and store policies
- Processing cash, card, and digital payments accurately via POS systems
- Receiving shipments, tagging items, and organising stockroom inventory
- Replenishing merchandise on the floor and ensuring visual merchandising standards are met
- Managing fitting rooms and assisting customers with size or style recommendations
- Handling returns, exchanges, and customer complaints with a professional attitude
- Monitoring the floor to prevent theft and ensure a safe shopping environment
- Coordinating with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales targets
- Assisting with store opening and closing procedures, including till balancing
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Maintain a fully stocked store
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Recommend and display items that match customer needs
- Welcome and greet customers
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments
- Keep up to date with product information
- Accurately describe product features and benefits
- Follow all companies policies and procedures
