Job Vacancy: Fine Metal Grinder Location: Maasvlakte, Netherlands Employer: SIF Contract Duration: Long-term Start Date: To be agreed Job Description SIF in Maasvlakte/ Roermond is seeking experienced grinders/slackmen responsible for preparing and finishing materials before and after the welding process. Safety, precision, and adherence to procedures are central in this role. Responsibilities

• Review route cards, drawings, and instructions
• Inspect equipment and materials for quantity and damage
• Perform LMRA (Last Minute Risk Assessment) and ensure use of PPE
• Set up and operate equipment according to instructions
• Use power tools following procedures
• Record and scan completed tasks
• Visually inspect and repair workpieces or welds
• Inspect hand tools and ensure proper maintenance
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements

• VCA Basic certificate (in Dutch or English)
• Working at height certificate (mandatory for Maasvlakte)
• Driving license B
• Language proficiency: minimum B1 in Dutch or English
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience

What We Offer Salary: €2,783 - €3,010 gross per month, starting at €17.13 per hour Allowances:

• 28% for afternoon shifts
• 35% for night shifts
• 75% for overtime and Saturdays
• 100% for Sundays
