Required Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor degree in Business or Mechanical engineering Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in leading position Intimate knowledge of manufacturing processes, business acumen and cost control Experience from driving improvements based on the Lean concept Excellent communication and language skills, fluent in Swedish and English

As the Production Manager Chassis Assembly (CBU) in the Borås plant you are responsible for chassis assembly and test driving. Your primary focus will be to lead the transformation of the unit into a high performing lean operation. You have an overall responsibility of managing the chassis assembly. The Production Manager is reporting to the Vice President Operations Borås and part of the plant Management team.

Main Activities and Responsibilities: Enroll all production employees to our strategies and create a clear sense of direction and focus, putting our customer and market needs in center of everything we do Share and create a trusting relationship and recruit, manage and develop excellent production staff Support the production operations team in achievement of KPI’s by developing a competent team that is focused on improving the current performance in areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Lead and foster a continuous improvement culture within the organization through team development. Provide strong leadership and support within the organization to always consider problem solving to “Root Cause”, ensuring that we eliminate repeated issues Commit to health and safety improvement within the production area
