We are responsible for developing platform solutions within the areas of Chassis, Body in White, Body, Powertrain and Electrical. The main sites are located in Sweden and Brazil and the function employs app. 300 people. Volvo Buses is now seeking an experienced Manager Project Office who has the drive and passion to contribute to Volvo buses profitability. And who sees that the key to success is to develop the organization and its people in meeting future challenges. Project Office has the overall responsibility to manage Platform developments deliveries in projects. The team consists of 11 Technical project managers and geometrical architects.

The main task in this important role is to: Deliver start cost, maintenance and advanced engineering projects according to quality, delivery, cost and feature targets Manage and support our Project Managers who are responsible for leading and planning the technical work in our projects to fulfill our quality, delivery, cost and feature targets We are looking for an experienced leader, who is resourceful, innovative and a skilled team-builder. You should be capable of managing people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and focus on people development by creating an environment for growth. In this specific role you have experience in leading a project office organization and supporting project managers in their deliveries. We believe that you have the ability to work closely with other project office functions finding ways in setting up optimal projects depending of the content. The manager of Project Office is a member of the Platform Development management team, and reports to the Vice President Platform Development.
