This also includes responsibility for the governance interface between IOS, infrastructure outsourcing partner and application development & maintenance teams (SDUs and also Connected Solutions) Cross-functional runtime services, which covers all cross-functional services corresponding to ITIL processes with exception for some processes related to service design and development, and to onetime deliveries/request fulfilment

Key responsibilities New service development, architecture and innovation, within own portfolio Responsible for the service development projects including budgets and steering of project activities Responsible for steering and key architecture and roadmap decisions in transformation projects Contribute to IT Long Term Plan, strategic targets and policies and responsible to define and drive them within own portfolio Lead IT infrastructure services innovation Service Delivery Management Ensure that all services are delivered according to contracted supplier obligations for cost, volumes and quality Service Level Management: for new and changed services, define the services KPIs, PIs and metrics, and specify service level targets Formal validation of supplier invoices Accountable for proper incident & problem management with the suppliers and act as escalation point in case of SLA violations Accountable for continuous improvement of the services and of the operational process interactions between Volvo and partner companies Outsourcing partnership management: financial, contractual and commercial management of existing, changed and new services Define and follow-up service delivery budgets and runtime cost budgets for whole outsourcing scope of own portfolio Monitor achivement of outsourcing business case for own area Conduct negotiations regarding contractual and commercial changes within own portfolio regarding changes of existing services and introduction of new services Manage suppliers relationships related to services development and deliveries both with main Outsourcing partner and other suppliers People manangement and stakeholder management Manage direct reports (employees and in some cases consultants) who in their turn functionally manage large supplier teams and project team Manage and continuously develop and improve, the relationships with global and multi-cultural Volvo and partner teams - spanning commercial, strategic, tactical and operational aspects Within Volvo, interact with Group IT and TD/BA P&IT management teams regarding requirements, usage, cost and improvements of outsourced services and new service development and act as escalation point and as required co-ordinate activities between other parts of the Volvo organization and external partners Service Level management and cross-functional service improvement Service area responsibility for cross-functional runtime services Govern the cross-functional services provided by outsourcing partner and ensure applicable penalties are applied in case of deviations Drive continuous improvement of the cross-functional services and of the operational processes and interaction models with outsourcing partner Secure cross-functional support to all service management portfolios regarding service level management, process improvements, service quality improvements Responsible for hardware asset management The Volvo Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine and industrial engines under the leading brands Volvo, Renault Trucks, Mack, UD Trucks, Eicher, SDLG, Terex Trucks, Prevost, Nova Bus, UD Bus, Sunwin Bus and Volvo Penta.
