If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you'll do

As an External Relationship Manager (Maternity Cover), you'll play a key role in shaping the Vodafone Procure & Connect (VP&C) brand and strengthening our external market presence across roaming and wholesale activities, while continuing to deliver hands on marketing execution. This role combines ownership of external facing channels with day to day marketing delivery and support for strategic partner led initiatives. You'll manage VP&C's website and LinkedIn presence, oversee lead generation activity, support trade events for roaming, and coordinate the delivery of sales and communication assets through external agencies. You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Operations and Vodafone's wider marketing teams to ensure consistent, high quality external engagement aligned with commercial objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage marketing materials: You will be responsible for briefing, coordinating and managing the delivery of brand assets, including sales collateral, presentations, website content and social media materials, working with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure quality, accuracy and full alignment with Vodafone brand guidelines.
  • Manage digital channels and lead generation: You will own the VP&C website and LinkedIn presence, managing content, agency delivery where applicable, and supporting lead generation activity through campaigns, partner initiatives and event led engagement, with performance tracking and optimisation.
  • Execute campaigns: You will support the implementation of marketing plans for existing and new roaming and wholesale products, coordinating campaign execution across internal teams and external partners to drive visibility, engagement and commercial impact.
  • Support trade marketing and sales events: You will coordinate trade marketing activities and provide end to end marketing support for roaming focused trade events, partner engagements and sales initiatives, working with agencies and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and effective on site and post event follow up.
  • Support strategic partner led initiatives: You will coordinate marketing and communication activity linked to strategic collaborations with international operators, technology partners and ecosystem stakeholders, managing deliverables, messaging and timelines.
  • Support external communications and press activity: You will coordinate and manage the development of press releases and external communications related to roaming, wholesale and partnership initiatives, working with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency, accuracy and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: You will work closely with Sales, Product, Operations, agencies and Vodafone's wider marketing community to align delivery of integrated marketing initiatives and ensure priorities are clearly translated into actionable briefs.
  • Drive continuous improvement: You will assess, measure and refine marketing activity across digital channels, campaigns, events and partner initiatives, using insights to continuously improve effectiveness and delivery.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, digital marketing, product marketing, or business development.
  • Experience within telecoms, technology, or fast-paced commercial environments.
  • Proven track record in campaign management, social media, content creation, events, and lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of digital channels, brand management, and customer-facing communications.
  • Experience delivering marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement and business growth.
  • Ability to manage agencies, stakeholders, and multiple projects simultaneously.
