LOGISTICS MANAGER

Plan, coordinate, and manage the company’s logistics and transportation operations .
- Manage the movement of goods, materials, equipment, and products from suppliers to customers or project sites.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, transportation arrangements, and routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Supervise drivers, delivery personnel, warehouse staff, and other logistics employees.
- Monitor loading, unloading, packing, handling, and storage of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, deliveries, shipments, transportation, and inventory movements .
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, transport companies, and internal departments.
- Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance, fuel usage, insurance, and related transportation requirements.
- Ensure all deliveries and shipments are properly documented and tracked .
- Plan efficient delivery routes to reduce transportation costs and delivery time .
- Monitor logistics expenses and assist in preparing and controlling the logistics budget .
- Ensure goods are handled safely and properly to prevent damage, loss, or delays .
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain appropriate inventory levels and storage arrangements .
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and resolve delivery, transport, or documentation issues .
- Ensure logistics operations comply with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations .
- Negotiate and maintain professional relationships with transporters, freight companies, suppliers, and service providers .
- Prepare regular logistics reports, delivery reports, inventory reports, and performance updates for management.
- Monitor logistics performance and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs .
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints relating to delivery, shipment, damaged goods, or delays .
- Ensure proper maintenance of logistics documents, invoices, delivery orders, purchase orders, and transport records .
- Coordinate emergency or urgent deliveries when required by customers or management.
- Conduct regular checks on logistics processes and identify areas for operational improvement .
- Ensure staff follow proper health, safety, and workplace procedures during logistics activities.
- Assist management with logistics planning, expansion projects, and other operational requirements.
- Perform any other logistics-related duties and responsibilities assigned by management .
